ECC - Tirunelveli, in association with Tirunelveli District Consumer Rights Protection Sangam, conducted outreach meetings at Perumalpuram (October 21, 2017) and N.G.O colony (November 27, 2017) of Tirunelveli District.

ECC-Tiruvallur conducted intensive outreach meetings with the help of Madras Metropolitan Consumer Rights and Protection Centre (MMCRPC) in the following places – Puthagram (November 22, 2017), Ikkadu (December 18, 2017), Chedilpakkam (January 03, 2018) and Podatturpet (January 27, 2018) in Tiruvallur District to promote the work of ECCs among the public. The meetings were organized by Mr. M. Selvaraj (General Secretary, MMCRPC), Mr. V. Asokan (ECC Advisor), and Mr. Nagaraj (ECC Co-coordinator). ECC handbills were distributed to the public of Tiruvallur district. Mr. M.
ECC-Cuddalore conducted intensive outreach meetings to promote ECCs among the public at Muthaiah Nagar (November 11, 2017) and Sivayam (January 12, 2018) of Cuddalore District. It was organized by Mr. Ambikapathi (ECC Coordinator) and Mr.S. Balasubramaniyan (ECC Advisor). ECC handbills were distributed in Sivayam, Kumaratchi, Muthaiah Nagar, and Chidambaram villages of Cuddalore district to promote and create awareness about ECC.

Electricity Consumer Cell (ECC), Cuddalore, organized a capacity building programme titled “Energy Governance” on December 22, 2017, at Krishnasamy College of Engineering and Technology, Cuddalore. The participants included Civil Society Organizations, electricity experts, engineering students, and academicians. Mr. Ambikapathi, ECC Coordinator, Cuddalore, welcomed the guests and participants and gave an introductory speech on the purpose of the capacity building programme.

Electricity Consumer Cell (ECC), Thiruvallur organized a capacity building programme titled “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy” on October 14, 2017, at New Abirami Hall, Ambattur, Chennai. The programme was attended by students from Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Ambattur and various consumer groups and Civil Society Organizations.
Mr. Selvaraj, Chairman of Federation of Consumer Organizations Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, welcomed the participants and gave an introductory speech on the purpose of the capacity building programme.
