Poornima Jayaraj

Poornima Jayaraj holds a PhD in Environmental Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, and has a background in architecture. With extensive industrial experience across various cities in India, she later transitioned into academia, serving as an Associate Professor at multiple architecture institutes. Her research interests include wetland conservation, addressing environmental challenges through human-nature interactions, and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has made significant contributions to academia through publications in reputed journals, including Scopus-indexed journals. Outside her professional endeavors, Poornima is a member of People for Animals and channels her creativity as a watercolor artist and wall art enthusiast.
