CAG’s Energy Clubs are designed to provide students with knowledge about sustainable energy practices and environmental stewardship. This report documents the activities that young members of the Chennai High School, Goyyathope club participated in. They learnt about the effects of light pollution, the importance of energy conservation, energy efficiency audits, environmental pollution from power plants, and the importance of solar energy.

Heavy traffic and high population density increase emissions in urban areas. The UK's Low Emission Zone (LEZ) addresses air pollution, climate change, and traffic congestion by encouraging the use of newer, cleaner vehicles or public transportation. Could similar strategies be implemented in Indian cities? Share your thoughts!

We found that in Tiruvannamalai, poor public transportation facilities influence patient accessibility to Primary Health Centres. Many rely on public transport. Inaccessible sites might force patients to use private transportation, for at least part of the journey. Providing free medical treatment and medications while patients incur substantial transportation costs is counterproductive. 

The government can enhance the availability of child helmets by encouraging manufacturers to boost production, ensuring a greater supply for retailers and increase child helmet usage by offering subsidies, making them more affordable.
