An electric vehicle (EV), often known as an electric drive vehicle, is a vehicle that is propelled by one or more electric motors. Small and large vehicles, including cars, trains, trucks, lorries, aircraft, boats, motorbikes, and scooters can be run using electricity. Electricity can be used to power battery-operated electric vehicles as a transportation fuel (EVs). Electric vehicles (EVs) use an energy storage device, such as a battery, to store electricity. An electric motor drives the vehicle's wheels with electricity. Electric vehicles have limited energy storage capacity, and therefore must be recharged by connecting to a power source.
