CAG has filed a petition against the "Draft Revised Coastal Zone Management Plan" uploaded by Department of Environment, GoTN. The documents uploaded and purported to be the Draft CZMP are not complete and have not been prepared in accordance with the CRZ Notifications, 2011, and are in contempt of the order of NGT (SZ), 2014. Therefore CAG has requested that the current Draft be withdrawn immediately, and fresh Draft prepared in accordance with the law.
