Human Rights Impact Assessment – concepts, approaches and methods

This document discusses the concepts, approaches and methodologies used in conducting human rights impact assessments. The different phases and stages of HRIA are introduced, and the first three stages are discussed in some detail. The report attempts to relate the generic information available in the literature to the specific context of the HRIA project initiated by CAG at Kodungaiyur, to the extent possible at this early stage of the project as of February 2018.
