The E-STEAM (Energy–Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Club – Young Energy Actors Programme runs from 9 July to 3 September 2026 at Chennai Middle School, Manjambakkam.
Across eight sessions, students explore electricity generation, transmission, power consumption and energy efficiency through hands-on activities.
They build circuits, calculate household energy demand, design energy-efficient homes and classrooms, and conduct a school energy audit. Students also explore solar and wind energy, renewable energy sources and passive cooling through model-building activities.
The programme concludes with an e-waste art wall, project showcase and personal energy-saving commitments, encouraging students to become responsible Young Energy Actors in their homes, schools and communities.
