CAG’s “Traditional Seeds, Timeless Strength” initiative will be held throughout October in Thiruvannamalai and Tirupathur.

The month-long programme will engage farmers and young consumers through awareness sessions, seed exhibitions and traditional grain activities. The initiative aims to revive interest in traditional seeds, strengthen seed conservation practices and promote the value of traditional grains. Farmer experiences, traditional recipes and local knowledge will also be documented to support long-term food and seed diversity.
