Inter-college competition for the World Consumer Rights Day

Over the past month, CAG has actively engaged with college students across approximately ten institutions to raise awareness about sustainability and eco-conscious consumerism. As a culmination of these initiatives, CAG hosted an intercollege competition and event on March 18, 2025, in recognition of World Consumer Rights Day, aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyles.

During the event, an on-the-spot ADZAP competition was conducted, challenging participants to identify misleading claims associated with products that feature greenwashing labels. Students were provided with various products and were tasked with presenting their findings in an advertisement format. This allowed them to showcase their critical thinking and creative skills to an audience.

Additionally, prior to the event, a separate competition was held, encouraging colleges to document and submit sustainable practices taking place on their campuses. During the event, the top three submissions, which highlighted exemplary sustainable practices, were awarded trophies in recognition of their efforts.
