A workshop was held to address the growing issue of end-of-life solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and the systems necessary for their safe and responsible management. The discussion focused on the current framework for collecting, transporting, recycling, and disposing of solar panels. Participants explored the challenges faced by various stakeholders and identified opportunities to foster responsible end-of-life management, promoting a circular economy for solar materials. The workshop brought together diverse participants, including Solar EPCs, urban planning architects, waste recyclers, waste collectors, and academicians.
