The Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group (CAG) is actively engaging with Resident Welfare Associations to promote rooftop solar adoption, addressing concerns and providing guidance on the process. K. Vishnu Mohan Rao, CAG's program lead, emphasized the importance of community-driven solutions and shared experiences in overcoming regulatory hurdles.
CAG organized a focus group discussion with various stakeholders involved in the solid waste management sector with the objective of gaining insights into key discussion points for the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee. During the discussion, FOMRRA representatives also highlighted the challenges posed by single-use plastics within communities and apartment complexes.
