Consumer Guidance Seminar on AI

The seminar aimed to facilitate a structured and multidisciplinary dialogue involving experts from technology, academia, consumer advocacy, industry, law, regulatory bodies, administration, financial safety, and cybersecurity. The objective was to assess emerging challenges, identify policy and regulatory gaps, explore accountability frameworks, and understand whether AI-driven consumer ecosystems are evolving as a boon or a risk. The seminar engaged college students and consumer groups to encourage informed participation. The expected outcome was to generate insights that will inform CAG’s research, advocacy strategy, and future interventions on responsible AI governance and consumer protection.
