An expert panel comprising doctors and nutritionists gathered at the multistakeholder consultation on hypertension organised by CAG. They called for better awareness campaigns on the 'silent killer'. Hypertension produces little to no symptoms of its own and can therefore be easily missed.
CAG's textbook for middle graders to teach climate literacy, was formally released by Mr. Deepak Bilgi, Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change at the National Conference on Air Pollution and Climate Change. The programme is currently running in its pilot phase in select Chennai schools.

An event to mark the World Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims was conducted yesterday by CAG, the Greater Chennai Traffic Police, and the Dr. Ambedkar Law University. The event was aimed at prioritising human life over speed and convenience and was dedicated to eliminating fatalities from road crashes. The theme this year was justice, which discusses the need to highlight the various socio-economic fallouts of road crashes.

CAG in collaboration with Consumer Rights Movement, Salem conducted a regional media workshop in Salem on 25.09.2022. Witnessing the participation of over 30 media personnel, the workshop discussed the need to implement MVAA 2019, strengthen road safety enforcement, and the role of media in road crash investigations.
