Seminar on trans fats held

Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group (CAG), in association with the Citizen’s Voice Club (CVC) conducted a seminar to create awareness among students on the need to avoid trans fats during the Children's Day week of 2019. The program was attended by the Coimbatore Food Safety Officials like the Designated Officer and Food Safety Officers, consumer club members and the school students and teachers.

For pedestrians in city using roads is never smooth; it is only risky

Poor infrastructure for pedestrians is one part of the problem. Another is that motorists treat pedestrians & cyclists as usurpers of road space instead of legitimate road users. Pedestrian deaths in Chennai have been increasing in past few years in spite of the city being the first to adopt a NMT Policy. #pedestriansafety
