The GCTP have reactivated their #socialmedia & are effectively engaging with #citizens to solve grievances within a period of 24hrs to 3 days. All one needs to do is tag their social media handle & register any complaint. This move of leveraging technology by Chennai Traffic is commendable. 

CAG, Chennai, in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Consumer Protection and Environment Research Centre (TNCPERC), Tiruvarur organised a workshop on ‘Strengthening Road Safety Decision Making’, to understand global best practices on road safety such as increased penalties to act as deterrents and stronger legislation.
