Recycling will work only if we first adhere to the basic tenets of a zero waste economy - reduce and reuse. After we effectively practise these, (and for recycling to really work), we need to segregate our waste, so materials can reach their correct recycling facility. Don't throw away your old T-shirt together with your onion peels! #GlobalRecyclingDay
