Pedestrian infrastructure plays a pivotal role in enabling mobility for everyone, especially individuals with disabilities. Almost every journey commences or concludes on foot, and if the initial or final steps of that journey are inaccessible, the entire trip becomes challenging or even impossible. On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December), let's look at the ways we can design our pedestrian infrastructure to be inclusive for all.
