In Tamil Nadu 19.8% of the crashes and 21.4% of the road crash deaths were due to speeding. Speed management is a low-hanging fruit - getting it right can directly save thousands of lives. Tamil Nadu must act now, by prioritising people and implementing scientifically backed speed guidelines.
