The chief guest of the session was Dr Kathiravan, Designated Officer, Food Safety Department, Salem. CAG organised a media workshop on trans fat on 28 March 2021.
CAG along with four other consumer organisations submitted a 8 point consumer charter demanding effective implementation of trans fat regulations on 8 August 2019.
