Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), and support of Salem Consumer Rights Movement organised a consumer awareness programme on telecom services on July 8, 2025, at the School of Allied Health Sciences, Veerapandi, Salem. Mr. Subramani from CAG highlighted TRAI’s key consumer initiatives, grievance redressal mechanisms, and the importance of cyber safety. Mr. B. Senthil Kumar, Lead District Manager, Salem, delivered a special address on digital financial services. Representatives from BSNL, Jio, and Vodafone were present and responded to participants’ queries.
