Researchers from UBC Forestry, Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions & Bern University found that the global fish stocks in 103 of 226 marine regions had dropped considerably from their historical levels due to #ClimateChange. These stocks could drop by 36% in the 21st century if no #ClimateAction is taken.

The Anthropocene Hubris

This is not, the writers insist, something out of an Isaac Asimov book or the ramblings of a Star Trek fan. In my mind whether the human race is technologically close to achieving trans-planetary habitation is not the question as much as whether we should be trying to do this when we’ve been such poor stewards of planet Earth.
