Jane's walk

The Jane’s Walk Report presents the findings from The Jane’s Walk - Chennai Edition that CAG undertook on the 23rd May 2026. Starting from M.G.R Janaki College (Durgabai Deshmukh Road, State Bank of India Colony, Raja Annamalaipuram) to Besant Nagar Bus Depot (1st Avenue, RBI Quarters, Besant Nagar), the route was observed through the lens of the quality of pedestrian infrastructure and accessibility in the region which were then compared with IRC (Indian Roads Congress) Guidelines.
