National Pollution Control Day

As per IQ Air report, 12 Indian cities were listed among the top 15 most polluted cities globally. This Air Pollution challenge remains a complex issue that requires sustained efforts & innovative solutions to protect public health & the environment.

 

#AirPollution causes one in eight deaths worldwide, harms human & planetary health, & accelerates #ClimateChange. On this #NationalPollutionControlDay, let us all take a pledge to keep our environment clean & pollution free by embracing clean energy.

Stricter implementation of laws like Air Act, Water Act and Environmental Protection Act is crucial for reduction of pollution, as well as to conserve and restore environment in India.
