Listening workshop | Community Awareness 6 | Paruthipattu

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG) conducted a Rooftop Solar Awareness Workshop at Assumption Church Community Ground, Paruthipattu, Avadi on Sunday, 29 June, from 8.30 AM to 10.30 AM. The workshop was attended  by  approximately 20 householders (all living in independent homes) from Paruthipattu.

Listening workshop | Community Awareness 5 | Madhavaram

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), organised a rooftop solar awareness workshop at CSI Arul Church, Madhavaram, Chennai. The workshop was held from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM on  Sunday,13 June. The workshop was attended by 300 people from Madhavaram and surrounding neighbourhoods, with almost all participants residing in individual houses.

Safe School Zones- Enhancing sustainable mobility & creating safe school routes in Chennai

CAG conducted a study (July–Sept 2024) across three Chennai schools to identify challenges in school-zone safety. The three schools were selected for being representative of different neighbourhoods in Chennai. Methods included parent surveys, road audits, focus groups with children, and observational studies. The report also proposes actionable measures for developing safer, sustainable transport solutions around schools.
