This series of posters was developed as part of our ongoing work in Chhattisgarh to to facilitate consumer and civil society organization involvement in the electricity sector.
Entities of Chhattisgarh power sector:
Manikandan is a researcher with the Electricity Governance team. He graduated from Pondicherry University with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Energy Technology. His prior experience include a teaching position as Assistant Professor in engineering in a college affiliated to Anna University; and then as Junior Research Fellow at the Institute for Energy Studies, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, on the "Solar Desalination," project. The project was funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). He is currently pursuing a part-time Ph.D. program at Anna University. His passion lies in utilizing energy solutions to contribute towards the creation of a more sustainable society.

CAG's survey in Chennai highlights the everyday challenges faced by livelihood cyclists. Cyclists reported a stark lack of safe cycle paths and parking facilities. Better infrastructure and courteous motorists will go a long way to creating safer spaces for our cyclists.

Ashika is Communications Associate at CAG. She has previously worked in the field of Digital Marketing. She holds an MA Communications and Media Studies. She is an enthusiastic individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to create a positive impact in the world. She is also a passionate singer-songwriter. Her hobbies include playing the guitar, and chess. She is inclined towards spirituality.

CAG's representation to the Department of Consumer Affairs, asking that the Supreme Court's judgement placing lawyers outside of the ambit of the Consumer Protection Act, be reconsidered, as such a move will defeat the very purpose of the Act, and will be detrimental to wider consumer interest.
