Hypertension care and control - A Tiruvannamalai case study


Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in association with Consumer Rights, Education and Awareness Trust (CREAT) and BMS College of Law, organised an energy efficiency and conservation seminar for law students, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and consumer groups from around the state at BMS College of Law, Bengaluru, Karnataka on 29th April 2024.
The above questionnaire was used to assess students' behaviour that could potentially be viewed as conducive to sustainable lifestyles.
Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with Anmol Foundation organised a seminar discussing electricity issues of consumers in Chhattisgarh. The meeting was held on 18th April 2024 at Hotel Kingsway Raipur, Raipur. Representatives of small-scale establishments, domestic consumers, as well as representatives from the media participated.
The above questionnaire was used to assess teachers' knowledge of climate change before and after the deployment of the curriculum and to measure their changes in attitudes and behaviours related to environmental sustainability. Further, the questionnaire on teachers' reflections was documented at the end of every lesson to learn the effectiveness of the lesson plan and the challenges the teachers had to face in completing each unit.
A seminar to disseminate awareness on energy efficiency/conservation and renewable energy to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was conducted by CAG in association with the Consumer Rights Movement and Consumer Voice Foundation on 8th April 2024. Around 45 participants from several MSMEs in and around Salem took part in the event.
CAG submitted a charter of 13 demands to the RBI - each demand meant to strengthen consumer security and confidence in digital payments. These demands are based on an extensive survey carried out by CAG, aiming to understand the digital transactions landscape, reported areas of concern, and recommendations to improve on these.
Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with the Consumer Protection Association (CPA), organised a one-day seminar discussing the electricity issues in Tripura, as part of the project "Accelerating Clean Energy Transition by Improving Stakeholder Participation for Electricity Governance in India". The event was held on 09 March 2024 at Agartala Press Club, Tripura.
Citizen consumer and Civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with the People’s Monitoring Group on Electricity Regulation, organised a one-day capacity-building programme as part of the project "Accelerating Clean Energy Transition by Improving Stakeholder Participation for Electricity Governance in India" held on 23rd March 2024 at Press Club, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. The meeting brought together stakeholders who are part of the People’s Monitoring Group on Electricity Regulation.
