Safe school zones- Children who lost their lives in road accidents
According to MoRTH, the number of children who lost their lives in road accidents rose from 7,764 in 2021 to 9,528 in 2022. One effective strategy to decrease child fatalities is to establish safe school zones. Thoughtful road design and consistent enforcement of rules around school zones can help reduce injuries to children.

She brings over seven years of experience with solar energy, battery storage systems, and green energy buildings to CAG’s efforts in advancing sustainable energy access and climate-resilient infrastructure.
Meenakshi holds a Master’s degree in Engineering in Solar Energy from the Institute for Energy Studies, College of Engineering, Anna University, where she also worked as a Junior Research Fellow.

The event, held from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, saw the participation of 24 residents from Kasturba Nagar and nearby communities.
