Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG) organised an event titled ‘Multi-stakeholder Discussion on Rooftop Solar PV Systems in the Retail Market’ on August 14th, 2025. The aim of the event was to make rooftop solar accessible and attractive to a wide range of consumers, with a focus on influencing the retail sector — a critical part of the economy where rooftop solar adoption could have a positive impact.

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), Asar Social Impact Advisors (Asar) and Poovulagin Nanbargal, organised a workshop on June 21, 2025 at Hotel Hablis, Chennai, for representatives of financial institutions, solar energy developers and consumers. The workshop was conducted as part of the project on Tamil Nadu Leadership in Energy Transition, with CAG, Asar and Poovulagin Nanbargal working collaboratively.
India’s installed power capacity hit 476 GW in 2025, with 49% from non-fossil sources. SDG 7 promotes clean, affordable energy for all. From using solar panels to switching off idle appliances, let us switch to renewables and energy-efficient habits for a brighter tomorrow. #Act4SDGs
