சி.ஏ.ஜி சென்னை மற்றும் டி.ஐ.டி.இ பெங்களூரு அமைப்புகள் இணைந்து சென்னையில் நுகர்வோர்களுக்கான "மின்சாரத்தை சேமிப்போம்" என்ற வீட்டு எரிசக்தி தணிக்கை திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக தொடங்கப்பட்ட இந்த கையேடு அடிப்படை மின்சார திறன் நடைமுறைகள் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் போன்ற எளிய நடவடிக்கைகளின் மூலம் மின்சாரத்தை சேமிப்பதற்கான தகவல்களை வழங்குகிறது.

CAG, in collaboration with TIDE Bangalore, launched a household energy audit program in Chennai called Minsarathai Semippom to engage citizens and encourage them to conserve energy and look at energy-efficient options. This booklet launched as a part of the programme provides information to save energy through simple measures such as following basic energy efficiency practices and conservation measures.

Electricity Consumer Cells (ECCs) conducted outreach meetings in the month of February at Sri Saradha College (Tirunelveli district), Ennore Park (Tiruvallur district), and Pichainanthal Village (Tiruvannamalai district). The objective of the meeting was to educate consumers on energy governance, electricity rights and to create awareness about ECCs.
