Representation to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs in light of the Supreme Court judgement exempting lawyers from the purview of the Consumer Protection Act
CAG's representation to the Department of Consumer Affairs, asking that the Supreme Court's judgement placing lawyers outside of the ambit of the Consumer Protection Act, be reconsidered, as such a move will defeat the very purpose of the Act, and will be detrimental to wider consumer interest.
