Sharing community (GAF 2021)

CAG set up a "sharing network" of consumers to discuss and share information on sustainability and sharing. CAG created a comic booklet titled "Share and Care". CAG organised story telling and essay writing competition for students all over India on topics like : Sharing resource, Avoiding food waste, Importance of "5R's - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose". CAG organised a webinar for college students on "Sharing resources and sustainable consumption" and conducted Sharing Day events on colleges.

CAG was able to reach a wide range of consumers in the country.
Created a sharing network of various consumer categories - women, consumer group representatives, teens, faculty members.
Created a comic cartoon booklet to highlight the importance of sharing

Organised a webinar for college students on "Sharing resources and sustainable consumption" and conducted Sharing Day events on colleges.CAG set up a Sharing Network consisting of representatives from educational institutions, civil society organisations etc. Sharing Network played a major role in the GAW 2021 campaign in IEC dissemination, Sharing Day events, etc. CAG's booklet focused on the younger generation and highlights the importance of sharing and shows how sharing used items in good condition, like toys, accessories, household utensils etc. with others, works. The booklets were widely distributed among college/school students. CAG's webinar saw participation of 500 students, consumers, organisations etc. Students shared their experience on sharing resources and sustainable consumptions with others.

CAG was able to reach its goal amidst COVID situation.
CAG were able to reach 7000 consumers through various activities carried out in the Green Action Week 2021.
