Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with Solar Advisory Unit - Madurai, organised an outreach meeting on rooftop solar PV systems. The Solar Advisory Unit is an initiative by CAG, comprising a solar expert and a coordinator, aimed at guiding consumers on solar system-related enquiries. 

This was the first outreach meeting in Madurai district under the project “Accelerating Adoption of Renewable Energy by Improving Stakeholders Participation”.

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), Asar Social Impact Advisors, and Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) organised a stakeholders' coordination meeting on July 25, 2025. The meeting served as a platform to discuss the progress of implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and coordinate efforts among various stakeholders involved in the solar rooftop initiative.

Rooftop Solar Awareness Workshop - Kambar Colony Welfare Association 

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with Kambar Colony Residents’ Welfare Association, organised a Rooftop Solar awareness workshop on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Kambar Colony Playground Indoor Stadium, Anna Nagar. The event took place from 06:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and was attended by 40 residents from Kambar Colony.
