In spite of stronger legislation on road safety & implementation of measures like higher penalties, the number of two-wheeler rider fatalities has increased - 74,897 fatalities in 2022 alone. If you ride a two-wheeler, take extra care - speeding, not wearing a helmet etc can quickly turn fatal.
