CAG in collaboration with Solar Advisory Unit - Madurai, organised a stakeholder meeting on the adoption of rooftop solar energy under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana which was held on 15th November 2025 at Hotel Hemala, Karur. The primary goal of this meeting was to inform consumers about solar energy, covering topics such as subsidy programs, financing options, and installation processes. Attendees included representatives from solar developers, financial institutions, and media representatives.

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG), in collaboration with Solar Advisory Units of Salem, Madurai, Thiruvarur and Dindigul organised outreach meetings on rooftop solar PV systems. The Solar Advisory Unit is an initiative by CAG, comprising a solar expert and a coordinator with the aim of guiding consumers on solar system-related enquiries. The Solar Advisory Units are currently functioning in Madurai, Salem, Dindigul and Thiruvarur districts.

The Colloquium on Reimagining Climate Communication: Inspiring Action Through Innovation created a dynamic learning platform for students to explore how climate messages can inspire understanding and action. Through sessions on storytelling, digital media, indigenous knowledge, art, culture, and everyday behaviour, the event highlighted ethical, creative, and people-centred approaches to climate communication.
